Broome offers spectacular natural backdrops for wedding photography.
Here at Broome Weddings, we work closely with local Broome photographers who all have years of experience and an intimate working knowledge of the unique local Kimberley environment. Our team of photographers has been taking photos of Broome weddings for many years.
We ensure there is enough time to take the best photos within your ceremony and reception times with regard to sunset time. We send your photographer all the details of your wedding to ensure they don’t miss a thing.
With smaller weddings photography is included in your Complete price and the photography inclusions are appropriate to the package you chose.
When you book a larger wedding with Broome Weddings we will send you the photography packages for each of the available photographers for your wedding. This gives you the opportunity to compare their services and prices.
What photographer & package best suits my needs?
There are key things to consider when choosing the right photographer.
Ask yourself:
- Is the package suitable for the number of guests I am having?
- Do I like the photographers overall style?
- What length of photography session do I need? (for example, if you would like photos in your room of you getting ready, more time is required)
- How many different locations would I like photographs taken in?
- How many images would I like to end up with?
- Would I like my favourite images put together into a DVD slideshow?
- Would I like any canvas prints ?
And
- Does this package meet my budget?
What do I do once I have chosen who I would like?
Once you have chosen the photographer and package you prefer, let your wedding planner know and they will contact the photographer direct to confirm their availability for your wedding day. Once confirmed, we will reserve them for your event via an official booking form.
Handy tips for getting the most out of your photography session
- Allow enough time!
- Ensure the ceremony time that allows enough time afterwards to capture the best light leading up to (and just after) sunset. Weddings in the middle of the day do not generally provide ideal lighting conditions. Choosing a morning wedding will also have different considerations with regards to locations for best light.
- Reduce the number of locations you would like to take in as travel in between takes time. Discuss your choices carefully with your photographer as they will offer valuable advice.
- With larger guest numbers, appoint someone (perhaps a family member) to ‘coordinate’ your guests for group photos, assisting the photographer to make the best use of your session time.
- On the day… relax & have fun!!
