Broome and Activities
Broome is the southern gateway to Western Australia's spectacular Kimberley region right on the Indian Ocean's doorstep. From its rough and tumble, romantic pearling history to the cosmopolitan character of Chinatown to the turquoise waters, red sandstone cliffs and the endless expanse of white sand on Cable Beach....the colours and moods of Broome will capture your soul.
An unusual style of Colonial / Asian architecture has developed and this is evident in Broome's bustling Chinatown and many of the accommodation properties. The town's multicultural society ensures a wonderful mix of gourmet cuisine, colourful characters and distinct cultural influences.
There is a range of activities to enjoy whilst you are in Broome, and we can book these for you, making your arrangements for your wedding and honeymoon easy for you. Tell us what you would like to do and we will put together the best experience for your trip to Broome and the Kimberley. We can also organise group tours or cruises for your wedding guests.

For example, on the evening before your wedding why not hire a Catamaran and enjoy sunset drinks whilst sailing along Cable Beach? What a great introduction to Broome for all your guests who have made the effort to travel all the way for your wedding.
Other activities could include sunset camel rides, fishing charters, pearl farm tours, scenic flights, Windjana & Tunnel Creek 4WD adventures. Or hire a 4WD and travel the famous Gibb River Road, swimming in spectacular gorges and waterfalls and camping or staying at comfortable station stays.

For the more adventurous, cruise the Kimberley coastline with North Star Cruises aboard the luxury 35 metre True North with on board helicopter and dive the pristine coral reef atolls where few divers have been before.

Weather
Broome's climate is semi-tropical with two distinct seasons - "wet" and "dry". The wet season, October - March, is warm and humid with cooling sea breezes, usually in the afternoon. Rain can be expected from December to March. The dry season, April - September, gives magnificent weather with clear blue skies, warm pleasant days and cool nights. It rains very little during the 'dry' and outdoor activities can usually be made with certainty.
